North Carolina Farmer Stirs Up Controversy With Confederate Flag And "White History Month" Display In Fourth Of July Parade In Hope Mills

The Daily Mail reports that a white farmer in North Carolina has stirred up some local controversy with a display that has a "White History Month" sign during a Fourth of July parade in Hope Mills, NC. Donnie Spell, who had participated in previous parades with his antique tractors and displaying the Confederate flag, drove a tractor pulling a cart full of watermelons in the parade; the tractor was labelled with a sign that said "White History Month" and "HUG WTE PPL". The usual suspects are upset. The story has been picked up by other national sources, with local reports from WNCN Channel 17 in Raleigh and the Fayetteville Observer.

Summary: Donnie Spell applied for the entry in the parade before the fact, listing 8-10 antique tractors and a trailer of watermelons for sale that he would include. However, Kenny Bullock, the Director of Parks and Recreation for Hope Mills who was responsible for organizing the parade, claims that Spell did not disclose that he would attach signs to his display. Later, when Bullock heard about the intended sign, he asked Spell's daughter-in-law to remove it, which she did, but it went back up before the parade.

Local Reaction: Bullock, Mayor Jackie Warner, and town Commissioners Jerry Legge and Pat Edwards said they received complaints about the sign after the fact, although no one complained about other signs on other tractors that read, "I didn't vote for Obama" and "God loves rednecks". One black woman was conveniently found who expressed objection on camera. Alicia Jones complained that her seven-year-old son's innocence was broken, and that she was distressed by having to explain the meaning of the signs to him. Then she spit out this incomprehensible phrase: "I think there needs to be an apology, and [Spell] needs to not be able to submit – to be in any parade again". Bullock also said the Town of Hope Mills is now considering imposing specific guidelines for parade entries in the future. He is not sure if Spell should or could legally be banned from future parades, but will seek advice from the town's attorney.

WNCN seemed to go out of their way to find and publish negative reaction, while comments to their story indicate a more favorable reaction towards Donnie Spell. Here's a few of the 160 comments:

Just so I understand, a white person can't be proud to be white and if he is, he must apologize? To whom must the apology be given? Of course, we white folks are the only racist folks around too, huh? C'mon man!

I, m A Proud African American Woman & I See Nothing Wrong With This If These People Are Proud To Be White Then They Should Be! This Is A Small Southern North Carolina Town Its Not Charlotte Or Raleigh It Kinda Goes With The Territory. As Long As No One Got Hurt Or Racial Slurs Were Verbally Said About Blacks Or Other Races, Then I Say More Power To Them! After All This Is The South.

John Fisher July 6th 10:31 A.M. (WNCN):
Very proud of Mr. Spell and his position. He owes no one an apology. Hopefully the town of Hope Mills will stand against the anti-white, anti-southern agenda. The NAACP types have had their way far too long and far too often.

Matt Parrott July 6th 4:18 P.M. (WNCN): Yes, this is OUR Matt Parrott of OD fame.
Trying to sell watermelons with a pro-White message seems like a disastrous marketing strategy.

Either way, kudos to him for standing firm against the regime and its anti-White campaign!

Africa for the Africans, Asia for the Asians, White countries for everyone?
Everybody says there is this RACE problem. Everybody says this RACE problem will be solved when the third world pours into EVERY White country and ONLY into White countries.

The Netherlands and Belgium are just as crowded as Japan or Taiwan, but nobody says Japan or Taiwan will solve this RACE problem by bringing in millions of third worlders and quote assimilating unquote with them.

Everybody says the final solution to this RACE problem is for EVERY White country and ONLY White countries to "assimilate," i.e., intermarry, with all those non-Whites.

What if I said there was this RACE problem and this RACE problem would be solved only if hundreds of millions of non-Blacks were brought into EVERY Black country and ONLY into Black countries?

How long would it take anyone to realize I'm not talking about a RACE problem. I am talking about the final solution to the BLACK problem?

And how long would it take any sane Black man to notice this and what kind of psycho Black man wouldn't object to this?

But if I tell that obvious truth about the ongoing program of genocide against my race, the White race, Liberals and respectable conservatives agree that I am a naziwhowantstokillsixmillionjews.

They say they are anti-racist. What they are is anti-White.

Anti-racist is a code word for anti-White.

I remember that asshole from VNN. Called himself "Kentucky Kludd," I think, then switched to his real name.

Just another loser traitor, probably hoping to get some $$$ out of being a pro anti-racist. Sure he has lots of hair-raising tales to tell. LOL.
