The occasion was Putin's June 13th visit to Moscow’s Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center. During his speech, Putin referenced the decision by the first Soviet government to nationalize the library of Rabbi Joseph I. Schneerson, the late leader of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement; the books, which are claimed by Chabad representatives in the United States, are being moved to the museum. Then Putin offered more background:
“I thought about something just now: The decision to nationalize this library was made by the first Soviet government, whose composition was 80-85 percent Jewish”
Putin added that the politicians on the predominantly Jewish Soviet government were guided by false ideological considerations and supported the arrest and repression of Jews, Russian Orthodox Christians, Muslims and members of other faiths. They grouped everyone into the same category. A poster on Stormfront provides a broader thumbnail sketch about the repression. But Putin said he was happy to return the books to the Jewish community.
Of course, if Dr. Duke had uttered the same words, the Anti-Defamation League would be all over him like lox on bagels. But for some reason, the ADL remains silent when President Putin says the same thing. It just proves that Dr. Duke, rather than being anti-Semitic, was simply a man ahead of his own time. Dr. Duke's perspective on Jewish supremacism is becoming more adopted by the mainstream society with each passing day. And Dr. Duke is not resting on his laurels; he's preparing to release a new book entitled "The Secret Behind Communism", expected to be available shortly after July 4th at the latest. In the 24-page intro posted online, Dr. Duke noted that he met with the distinguished Russian patriot Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn in Moscow in 2002, and quotes hims as follows (from page 11):
“You must understand. The leading Bolsheviks who took over Russia were not Russians. They hated Russians. They hated Christians. Driven by ethnic hatred they tortured slaughtered millions of Russians without a shred of human remorse.
The October Revolution was not what you call in America the 'Russian Revolution.'
It was an invasion and conquest over the Russian people.
More of my countrymen suffered horrific crimes at their bloodstained hands than any people or nation ever suffered in the entirety of human history.
It cannot be understated. Bolshevism was the greatest human slaughter of all time.
The fact that most of the world is ignorant of this reality is proof that the global media itself is in the hands of the perpetrators.”
Solzhenitsyn left no doubt as to the predominant identity of those "non-Russians" who took over. On page 15 of the intro, Dr. Duke notes that in 1984, Solzhenitsyn was interviewed by Nikolay Kazantsev, a monarchist Russo-Argentine journalist, for Nasha Strana, a Russian language newspaper based in Buenos Aires. Here's the key quote from this interview:
"We (Russia) are walking a narrow isthmus between Communists and the World Jewry. Neither is acceptable for us... And I mean this not in the racial sense, but in the sense of the Jewry as a certain world view. Jewry [today] is embodied in capitalist globalism. Neither side is acceptable to us..." He also described the United States as a province of Israel.
This new book is further discussed on this Stormfront thread. Dr. Duke travels in some pretty fancy company; both Solzhenitsyn and Putin think like he does.
