Montana was one of the states listed. According to their Hate Map, there are 12 hate groups in the state, including the Kalispell Pioneer Little Europe (PLE) community, although even by the SPLC's overly-broad definition of "hate incidents", there were no incidents in Kalispell in 2012. Nevertheless, NBC Montana picked up the story and ran with it, using it as an opportunity to promote a local anti-racist group called Love Lives Here, which is also a puppet group of the Montana Human Rights Network. This prompted a discussion thread on Stormfront, as well as a response from April Gaede posted as a comment to the story:

April Gaede's comment was one of 14 posted to the NBC story as of this post; to the station's credit, they've censored none of them so far. Since such comments were usually deleted in the past, this represents a slow-motion grass-roots sea change in the way white racialist advocates are perceived. So long as the message is presented in a manner that does not drive away the average white person, it will be tolerated. An example of this approach is provided by Mjodr on his blog Fat Guy In Montana, which is frequently updated with news about Montana and outside news of interest to white Montanans.
While the Kalispell PLE has no formal relationship with Harold Covington's Northwest Front, Kalispell lies within the prospective territory to be claimed by the Northwest American Republic should it ever come to fruition. Thus, relocating to Kalispell would be part and parcel of what Covington calls "Coming Home". It should be noted that neither the Northwest Front nor the Kalispell PLE are welfare organizations; if you relocate, they'll give you a hand up but not a hand out. You will be expected to become self-supporting in the shortest period of time. This means either have a job lined up, or have a steady source of maintenance income already. There are a few single-family homes at $100,000 or less to be had in Kalispell, although most of them are downtown. However, "downtown" in Kalispell is NOT ghetto. And don't forget adjacent communities like Columbia Falls and Whitefish. City-data contains more vital statistics about Kalispell.
