|Prospective flyer for rally|
A specific pro-White group has now been identified as an intended participant in the upcoming pro-White rally to be held on in Duluth. Robert Hester of Superior, WI is an organizer for a group called the Supreme White Alliance, and he says his group will participate in the White unity rally to be held at 10 a.m. on March 3rd, 2012 at the Duluth Civic Center in protest against the so-called "Un-fair Campaign", which, contrary to the spin put out by anti-racists, deliberately and exclusively targets Whites alone as racists. The Un-fair Campaign is driven by the false doctrine of white privilege, which holds that in a white-dominated society, all whites, regardless of income, family status, or disability, are equally privileged simply because of the color of their skin, and that non-whites can never be racist because they allegedly don't hold power.
The initial call for a pro-White rally in Duluth was first issued on Stormfront back on February 2nd, and Robert Hester is the first to commit by name. According to the Duluth News-Tribune and Northlands News Center, Hester says that although the rally is being organized by white nationalists, they welcome anyone who is sick and tired of the color of their skin being slandered. He projects that as many as 100 people could show up, some coming from as far away as New Mexico and Arizona. He pledges that the rally is intended to be peaceful, saying “There will be no Klan marching down the street, no Unabombers running around". He also states that he does not plan to get a permit because the Occupy Duluth people were there for 45 days without a permit, and the ground rules should be equally enforced for anyone using the public square. Hester added that a woman from the city of Duluth contacted him to serve as a liaison between him and the Duluth Police Department so the police can remain informed and better plan for contingencies. However, police information officer Jim Hansen insists that no one in the Police Department, the City Clerk’s office or Parks and Recreation has been in contact with the group.
But although Stormfront put out the first call for a pro-White rally in Duluth, Stormfronters are not initially reacting well to the response by the Supreme White Alliance. In this thread, many Stormfronters express skepticism about this group's bonafides. The Supreme White Alliance has had growing pains; there's a foundation for the skepticism:
-- The alleged "Obama assassination caper" by two SWA associates, Daniel Cowert and Paul Schlesselman. They both ended up entering guilty pleas to various charges and were sentenced to long terms in 2010. Update: According to a comment by Lancer, these two were merely registered on the SWA Forum and were NOT patched members of SWA.
-- Landon Price was busted for meth, animal torture, and arson. He was a patched member of the Supreme White Alliance and living with club President Richard Kidd when he was busted for meth distribution. Richard Kidd has posted his explanation of this incident HERE.
-- The SPLC won a $2.5 million judgment against Ron Edwards and Jarred Hensley, then the Vice President of Supreme White Alliance, in the Jordan Gruver case in November 2008.
What's noteworthy is than none of the Stormfronters criticizing the Supreme White Alliance expressed their intent to attend the rally and show boots-on-the-ground support for White activism. Perhaps none of them live within reasonable driving distance of Duluth, but it shows once again that when someone attempts to crawl out of the proverbial pot, those still within will try to pull him back down rather than boost him up.
One proven activist intends to show up. Mike Delaney, who runs Prothink.org, says he is going there on his own accord, and he knows many others from various groups (Creativity, NSM, solos, etc) who are going there and have nothing to do with SWA. He recommends people in the area overlook their bias against the SWA and attend the rally.
