Israel Law Center Launches Witch-Hunt Against "Anti-Semitism", Threatens Litigation Against U.S. Universities For Failing To Curb "Anti-Semitism"

The Israel Law Center has engaged in intolerable interference in the internal affairs of the United States. The Jerusalem Post reports that the Center has sent warning letters to hundreds of U.S. college and university presidents instructing them of their legal obligations to prevent anti-Semitism on campus. The letters also remind universities it is their legal duty to prevent university funds from being diverted to unlawful activities directed against the State of Israel. The letters also threaten lawsuits asking for "massive damages" if they fail to prevent anti-Semitism on campus. The letters are expected to start showing up as early as September 8th. They were inspired, in part, by the Southern Poverty Law Center; Nitsana Darshan-Leitner told Commentary “We talked to [the SPLC] when we started, and they gave us the inspiration. They gave us the idea, and we followed what they did.”

Although the Post article makes it appear that the Israel Law Center is merely reminding the colleges of their obligations under American law, another report by Iran's Press TV states that the Center has filed lawsuits in other countries to criminalize activities that are clearly not criminal and to demonize people as terrorists who are not terrorists, and to get the U.S. to insist that the people involved in such endeavors as the Gaza Freedom Flotilla are violating the U.S. Neutrality Act, and should also be charged with material support of terrorists under the U.S. Patriot Act.

The pretext for this incredible outburst of chutzpah is that there are allegedly an alarming number of incidents of harassment and hate crimes against Jewish and Israeli students on U.S. college campuses. Anti-Israel rallies and events are said to frequently exceed legitimate criticism of Israel and allegedly cross the line into supposedly blatant anti-Semitism, resulting in hateful attacks against Jews.

For the Israel Law Center to threaten to sue U.S. colleges over anti-Semitism constitutes incredible and intolerable interference in internal American affairs. Do we threaten to sue Israeli universities for not providing fair and balanced information about the Arabs? No, we don't. These arrogant pricks have obviously forgotten that Israel exists primarily on American sufferance.

Israel has obviously forgotten that, according to Thomas Stauffer, the American taxpayer has provided an estimated $3 trillion dollars in both direct and indirect aid to Israel since it's independence in 1948. Currently, the American taxpayer is providing Israel with an estimated $8.2 million per day. The AidToIsrael website projects that an additional $30 billion in aid will be dispensed by 2018.

And what have we gotten in exchange for that aid?

-- The deliberate attack on the USS Liberty in 1967.
-- The transfer of American AWACs technology from Israel to China.
-- The Jonathan Pollard spy case, with constant Israeli demands for his release although we've executed other spies like Julius and Ethel Rosenberg in the past.
-- Orthodox Jews spitting on Christians in East Jerusalem, although Israeli authorities have worked to quash that practice in recent years.
-- Mass burnings of New Testaments in Israeli-occupied areas of Palestine.

Is this the way an ally behaves? Has the United Kingdom behaved that way towards us? Can we really consider Israel an "ally"?

Not as long as they bite the hand that feeds them.

I can just imagine how Ron Paul would react to this provocation if he was President. He'd probably recall the U.S. Ambassador to Israel home for temporary "consultations" to send a message of displeasure. Certainly Barack Obama won't go that far. Mitt Romney? Rick Perry? Michele Bachmann? Hell, they'd probably send Israel another $8 million just to make them feel better about themselves.

Stormfronters are of course critical of the Israeli action. But there's considerable criticism of the Israel Law Center published on the Post website (after the jump):

Maybe it could be said that instead of being Anti-Zionist, that we are Pro-White.

Asia for the Asians, Africa for the Africans, White countries for Everybody

Genocide by Assimilation

It is said that there is this RACE problem. They say this RACE problem will be solved when the third world pours into EVERY white country and ONLY into white countries.

The Netherlands and Belgium are as crowded as Japan or Taiwan, but nobody says Japan or Taiwan will solve this RACE problem by bringing in millions of third worlders and quote assimilating unquote with them.

Everybody says the final solution to this RACE problem is for EVERY white country and ONLY white countries to "assimilate," i.e., intermarry, with all those non-whites.

What if I said there was this RACE problem and this RACE problem would be solved only if hundreds of millions of non-blacks were brought into EVERY black country and ONLY into black countries?

How long would it take anyone to realize I'm not talking about a RACE problem. I am talking about the final solution to the BLACK problem?

And how long would it take any sane black man to notice this and what kind of psycho black man wouldn't object to this?

But if I tell that obvious truth about the ongoing program of genocide against my race, the white race, Liberals and respectable conservatives agree that I am a naziwhowantstokillsixmillionjews.

They say they are anti-racist. What they are is anti-white.

Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white.

I don't really understand. An Israeli based civil rights group can sue American universities? Is this being brought under the U.S. federal civil rights law? I get the "reminder" about funding terrorism based on the supreme court ruling, but I guess I just don't understand the law that is being invoked by an Israeli group against universities in another country. Is there a civil rights law comparable to the U.S. one in Israel? I'm being serious by the way.

Mihai-Robert Soran September 7th 10:13 P.M:
This action of the Israel Law Center deserves to be fought by all peaceful means by all students and universities regardless of their social, ethnic, religious or political affiliation or ideology.

This is a clear case of ultra-Zionist attempt of oppression of civic and human freedoms in the name of a fascist ideology similar to the boycott law passed by the Knesset. Save Israel before it becomes a Nazionalist Authoritarian concentration camp.

JDSillig September 7th 8:17 P.M:
Sadly the actions of Israel itself are the biggest cause in the rise of antisemitism. I would suggest putting a gag on Avigdor Lieberman as it would be far more effective than what the Israel Law Center is doing, which will only come off as an attack upon the freedom of speech of students at US universities.

jonryberg September 7th 11:18 P.M:
When you work so hard at disregarding the rights of everyone except yourselves you bring the hatred down on yourselves. You are becoming hated now not because of the fact you are Jewish but because of what you are doing to others. Accusing the whole world of antiSemitism is just deperate attempts to justify what others can no longer live with.

It would be silly to file suit against Israeli Universities for they are dominated by leftist professors who are far more anti-Zionist than the professors in the US colleges and Universities. See:
So that he could pursue a Doctorate degree, Michael Oren had to come to the US to attend a university as the professors in his Israeli University would not approve the subject matter of his pro-zionist thesis. Dr. Oren, the author of best books on the Six Day War, and the interaction of the colonial US with the Islamic Barbary Pirates, is now Israeli Ambassador to the US.
