Anti-Racist Activists Threaten To Kidnap Jared Taylor If He Holds His American Renaissance Conference In Charlotte; Taylor Stands Firm

Note: All previous posts on the 2011 American Renaissance Conference available HERE, with the most recent post displaying first.

Anti-racist activists (pictured at left) showed up at the January 31st, 2011 press conference held by American Renaissance publisher Jared Taylor in Charlotte, North Carolina and threatened to seize and kidnap him if he insisted on holding the 2011 American Renaissance conference from Feb 4-6 as scheduled.

This report does not come from the local mainstream media outlets, but from the Charlotte City Politics Examiner. Stories by the multitude of Examiner outlets nationwide are not considered quite as reliable as mainstream media stories, but the rest of the story compares favorably with other reports, so I am accepting the Examiner account as reliable.

The threat was actually communicated in an indirect fashion. Five protestors who identified as members of Anti-Racist Action approached Taylor. With members of the Charlotte police poised at the edge of the courtyard, one of the protesters yelled obscenities at Taylor as he began to speak. When Taylor concluded his press conference, the reporters turned to the black-garbed protestors. One of them, Michael Behrle, who is the ARA North Carolina regional leader, boasted, “American Renaissance will not hold a convention in Charlotte. If they try, it’ll be just like Canada,” referring to the violent disruption of the American Renaissance conference in Halifax in January 2007.

On January 16th, 2007, Jared Taylor was scheduled to give a speech at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. But before Taylor could begin, as many as 30 anti-racist activists entered the room and began shouting and beating on pots and pans for about 20 minutes. Then a group of six men surrounded Mr. Taylor at the podium, forcibly seized him, and, linking arms, removed him from the room.

Although Taylor was released unharmed, the act of forcibly seizing and removing someone outside the color of law meets the definition of kidnapping in every jurisdiction in the U.S.A. So it is accurate to state that the five ARA activists present in Charlotte did threaten to kidnap Taylor. Because the Charlotte police were not aware of the history of the Dalhousie incident, they did not recognize it as a kidnapping threat, and so did not arrest the ARA activists.

For the rest of the story on Taylor's January 31st press conference, we go to the Charlotte Observer. Taylor said he has not given up on holding the conference in Charlotte, expected to be attended by 100 people, despite what he called "contemptible" efforts to dissuade local hotels from hosting it. Taylor called out the Sheraton Charlotte Airport hotel and two Black city council members, Patrick Cannon and Warren Turner, who he said reportedly helped persuade it to cancel the February 4th gathering. Taylor asked for an apology as well as replacement facilities for the conference, and hinted at possible litigation. Besides asking for Cannon to apologize to American Renaissance, Taylor said the council member should make a city property available to the group or persuade the hotel to honor the cancelled contract.

Jared Taylor also rejected characterization of the conference as "white supremacist", saying "There's nothing the slightest bit supremacist about it. (The conference) is middle-aged men in suits giving speeches to other middle-aged men in suits. I can't imagine anything more boring." WCNC Channel 36 news video embedded below:

Boring? WTF, over? Why is Mr. Taylor dissing his own conference as "boring"? One of the primary faults of most prominent White Nationalist leaders is that they need some close order drill in public relations. You do NOT characterize your own event as "boring". Dr. David Duke and A3P Chairman Bill Johnson are the only WN leaders who seem to understand public relations.

In response to Taylor's concerns, City Councilman Patrick Cannon later said "I can appreciate (Taylor's) level of concern. But I cannot apologize for advocating for the safety and well-being of his organization. Nor can I apologize for the safety and well being of people in the city of Charlotte."

Politics Daily reports that even if the American Renaissance conference takes place as scheduled, there'll be a menagerie of opposition. The Jewish Defense Organization has threatened to boycott any hotel that hosts it. The Durham, N.C.-based Southern Anti-Racism Network has planned a rally on February 5th in Charlotte. Left-wing journalist Leonard Zeskind will also be present. Other groups have said they planned to protest. But considerable support for Taylor is expressed in the comments section of all the Charlotte Observer stories, so the elite is once again out of touch with ordinary people.

What a frigging wuss! And he didn't even put up a fight? How can anybody feel any sympathy for such a coward...

He probably didn't have much of a Conference lined up, like the ANP and their 10 stalwarts.

At least the ANP has use of a building where they don't have to worry about kidnappings and demonstrations. No matter what you say in this BLOG against the ANP THEy DO HAVE USE OF A BUILDING AND DO SAFELY HOLD INDOOR RALLIES. It doesn't matter who owns it. They have their act together while the other asshole pro-White groups beg for a place to have a meeting.

Poor, poor ANP. Above is there defense. Needless to say, Taylor and Rocky would be in prison if Nick would ever grow a pair.

1:31. Theif.

Hey 1:31, word has it that statements have been made and that ole Taylor and Howard will soon have some explaining to do and accounting to do too.

I think that the anti-racist activists are on this page writing all this anti-ANP crap, and pretending to be 'WN's.

Rumor is that Rocky has a kike as a top leader in the ANP, and hes been put in charge of their pitiful 'stormtroopers'. Anybody ever heard of a 'Paul Kozak'? Sounds jewish, hem?

THE RED NECK SHOP-TAYLOR BOWLES & CHAPPELL FACTS- PART 1

The following is a brief history of the disgusting circus and character unbecoming that led this former long time ANP supporter and others to leave. This information is both eyewitness and public information.

The Red Neck Shop is operated by John Howard, a washed up Klansman in the old Echo Theater in Laurens. The Theater was converted to the Red Neck Shop by John Howard and his then friend and fellow Klansman Michael Burden in 1996. Burden acquired ownership of the building with Howard having rights to use the building, NOT OWNERSHIP OF THE BUILDING.

In 1997 Michael Burden sold the building and transferred title to David Kennedy, a BLACK preacher who fights the White Nationalist Movement.

The ownership of the building by a black militant created a firestorm between Howard and Burden. Howard made several failed attempts to block the transfer by filing various bogus documents, all of which were not valid since Howard never owned the building in the first place. Howard even attempted to transfer the building to several different owners after he learned that Burden had sold it to a black, only to be blocked by his lack of legal OWNERSHIP.

Then, nearly 10 years later, in 2007, and after the arrival and association of Howard with John Taylor Bowels, after Bowel’s move to Laurens, SC under suspicious circumstances from Maryland, Howard with Taylor Bowles assistance convinced a young Movement follower of Bowles, Nick Chappell, to purchase the building for in excess of $200,000. Bowles was aware that Chappell had come into a significant amount of money from a inheritance and had convinced Chappell to make a sizeable investment in Bowel’s 2008 Presidential Campaign to a tune of $18,000.00, which Bowles used to pay off a past due Child Support Enforcement Judgment for several years past. Bowles use of funds from his “Presidential Campaign” is a violation of law.

THE RED NECK SHOP-TAYLOR BOWLES & CHAPPELL FACTS- PART 2

Howard and Bowles split the money that Chappell paid for the “purchase” of the Red Neck Shop and very shortly after it was announced that Bowles had joined the American Nazi Party and the ANP’s regular policy of requiring new people to start off at the bottom, had been waived for Bowles, Bowles was given a prominent high profile position and all ANP Meetings have been held at the Red Neck Shop since. The reason the ANP waived its requirements, was that Bowles presented a significant contribution or basically bought position and status in the ANP, with the ill gotten gains from the Chappell/Red Neck Shop transaction which is tainted by illegality. The ANP also waived many other of its prior standards, prior to Bowles and his contribution of dirty money, the ANP forbid uniforms, now the ANP has Black garb, similar to the NSM and the ANP forbid all 3rd Reich symbols and images, now they are used and worn on the black NSM-like uniforms. Rocky Suhayda put himself in the position where he had to give up prior core ANP positions in exchange to have Taylor and his money, which he blew through in 6 months.
The comment between Suhayda and Bowles was “Nickie’s money came in handy”

Chappell was a young teen and was captivated by the persona of Bowles who told him that he would own the Red Neck Shop and Howard bestowed a fake Klan Title of Grand Dragon of South Carolina on him. Bowles also abused the trust Chappell had placed in him. Howard and Bowles took Chappell’s money, effectively robbing the young man of his entire inheritance having sold property that Howard did not own and could not sell. Chappell learned that he had been robbed (and by a friend and comrade in the Movement) and when he asked for his money back, he was threatened and told to leave the State or else.

The ownership of the Red Neck Shop by a black is a matter of public record, see the links below. Given Howard’s prior attempts to transfer the title of the property to others, without success, one may ask if his theft of Chappell’s funds was yet another attempt to wrestle the property away from the black preacher AND make money on the deal? No matter, he still sold something that did not belong to him.

The anti scum need a sound beating - AmRen isn't a a movement and is impotent. Are the American Whites so negrified that they refuse to stand up for themselves ?

Dude, I wouldn't give Taylor any criticism, he meant "boring" as in downplaying the harm and controversy, telling people there's nothing to fear, and he's RIGHT.

Nobody on the opposition would care if he called his conference "despicable" if he did, the fact is, he is the owner of AmRen and will always represent the group, as such, they don't care what HE says about the conference, people will always believe what they want about it.

Duke & Johnson don't hold conferences confronted with violence, so if they did, then you can compare. Taylor has been in the news more than Johnson, Duke is only more controversial because of "former Klansmen". Otherwise Taylor should ONLY be praised for never backing down and always standing ground. No apologies.

Excellent write up on the history of the ANP's criminal activity.

There needs to be a master copy of the Taylor Bowles issues. The writer left out his theft from the NSM as well as his numerous incidences of blackmail or attempted blackmail.

The only problem is that sooner or later the press is going to get ahold of this. It is a red hot story when some newspaper or TV station decides to jump on it. When it is reported, they are only going to talk about Taylor Bowles's involvement in the NSM, not the American Nazi Party. Thanks to Rocky, they are largely unknown.

Due to the depraved nature of Taylor's swindling, this could also slow people in supporting legitimate white activists in the future. You can just hear Montel Williams or the like saying how Nazis steal from kids, pointing out Taylor Bowles. You'll see him in his NSM outfit and that is as far as it will go. Or they'll just lump all white nationalist together as they always do. The ANP has very little to lose over Taylor's crimes being brought to the attention the general public since they are complete nobodies.

We all know Taylor is guilty. That is no longer open for debate. What to do next is the question. Rocky does not have the leadership ability to do anything about Taylor. That has been established. Firm, even entry-level leadership would have kept Taylor out of the ANP regardless of the money. Demanding that Taylor pay back the money and return the goods is another dead end. Any suggestions?

I don't know what to do. The press getting ahold of it would be a mixed bag. Rocky would finally have a little bit of attention. He'd turn to his handful of followers and say the Jews were after him. That might turn into a good thing for him. Bowles wouldn't be able to steal from kids anymore though. Every highschool out there would be able to warn parents and kids in advance not to give him any money. None of it puts a dime back in Nick's pocket unless Nick later filed a civil suit. That doesn't solve the blackmail issues. I think a criminal investigation is all that will. Once they get involved, a lot of good people may go down with Bowles. Rocky is a spineless person but I don't think he is a bad man. He could be arrested too and for what? Just because he associated with Taylor Bowles and declared himself the commander of the American Nazi Party. If the cops start looking over books and see where they can say Rocky received some of the stolen money, they could take his own assests. That is a huge price to pay for just trying to get at the NSM through Taylor Bowles.

if you read it, in the opening, the guy says he was in the ANP, so I doubt he knows anything about taylor ripping off NSM, he looks to be writting about what he knows about personally which is even more incredible. This is serious.

Apparently there have been a lot of people leave the ANP because of the Rocky/Taylor issue. Most were "under the radar" types anyway so nobody really knew. A few spilled the beans on Rocky's mismanagement in private too but if the allegations came to light, the remaining ANP members would know exactly where it came from.

I can tell you right now that all Rocky is going to do is try some pitiful damage control on this blog. He will come on here trying to convince his remaining supporters that everything that has been written here is the result of one person. Then for the 10th time he'll write something about being crazy and how he is sorry to have written anything negative about the ANP. That is the extent of Rocky's leadership in action.

Rocky, you've got real problems. Right now, I wouldn't even be concerned about saving the ANP (which apparently you aren't). I'd be more concerned about not becoming Taylor's cell mate or at the very least being dragged into a civil suit.

Anyone who knows Rocky like those of use who used to be affiliated with the ANP know him can predict Rocky will first try to ignore what the former Comrade has exposed here, all of which is true, then he will have "Axel" and "Kozak" post childish replies, then Rocky will personally attack and deny these facts on his Report.

Rocky disappeared last month and told everyone it was due to health and had "Hess", Bowles, and Schruender run the show, Rocky is a micro-manager, the only reason why he disappeared was that requests had been made to give statements and information about what had gone on in South Carolina and about money received by the ANP. By the way, we all knew Rocky came into a lot of cash when Bowles arrived, but nothing was spent on the ANP, which is obvious. Rocky got unavailable real fast like a coward. Many former ANP supporters warned Rocky about Bowles and his blow hard presentations and his eye for same sex attraction. Rocky took the money and must now pay the cost.

I doubt Rocky is planning to go down with the ship. Bowles and his biggest problem immediately is that his people are asking questions that aren't being answered. Saying a 19 year old boy "had it coming" when Bowles robbed him isn't going to cut it.

Anonymous said...

Bowles good buddy, and VP, Jim Ramm, AKA Matthew Ramsey also terrorized Chappell into not pursuing legal action at the time. Whether or not Bowles provided a cash incentive to Ramm/Ramsey has not been identified.

Anonymous said...

I wonder if Bowles will clean out the ANP's bank account like he did in the NSOA? Rocky did at least have enough brains not to let Taylor near the party funds, right?

Don't tell AA what to do with his own blog. The ANP defectors can get their stuff read here like everybody else.
