Aryan Nations White Civil Rights Advocate Dan Schruender To Remain In Rialto School Board Race Despite Media Smear Campaign

In the wake of the announcement by Aryan Nations White civil rights activist Dan Schruender that he is launching a campaign to be elected to the Rialto Unified School District school board, a media circus has erupted. Led by San Bernardino Sun reporter Josh Dulaney, who published the first story on Schruender's campaign on August 5th, 2010 and labeled Schruender as "white supremacist", Schruender has been smeared and denigrated as "white supremacist" by all the other media outlets who subsequently slaved off the Sun story. In his latest blog post, Schruender himself admits to being taken aback by the ferocity of the media reaction, and has subsequently been reluctant to give further media interviews. The latest batch of stories have now been published by Raw Story, KABC Channel 7 (with non-embeddable video), and KNBC Channel 4 (with video); pro-White reaction posted on WhiteNewsNow.

However, although Schruender may be a bit bowed, he remains absolutely unbroken. Schruender states, "All is NOT lost - at least not yet. I'll have a better idea if it is by next week. If it turns out all is lost, the best thing to do is regroup, and plan our next strategy. One way or another, I'm not throwing in the towel. If we fail this time, we'll try again, and again, and again until we achieve victory." So this means he has NO intention of allowing the establishment to drive him out of the race at this point in time. Initially the only declared candidate, Schruender now has six other opponents, listed beginning on Page 74 of this reference. The official title of the job is "Member of the Governing Board"

Schruender reiterates that he did not jump into the school board race at the behest of Aryan Nations Director Paul Mullet. In fact, he made the decision without any prior notification of or coordination with Mullet. Nevertheless, because Schruender displayed the courage to run openly as a White civil rights advocate, Mullet has expressed his support for Schruender's campaign and has offered assistance. Schruender previously explained that he would not allow his racialist ideology to affect his policy-making, and that if elected, he would deal with all constituents fairly and evenly.

Schruender's platform is hardly "racialist"; he wants to overhaul a curriculum that has been dumbed down by the state of California. He wants to find a way for the kids to meet the standards, not for the standards to meet the kids. He also wants to work to save vocational programs, saying that non-college-bound kids are not getting enough attention. And Schruender also said it's unfair that varsity sports continue to be paid for while academic programs suffer cuts. He believes the priorities should be academics first, vocation second, then athletics last.

Our role as White nationalists should now be to express support for Dan Schruender's efforts and to let him know he is not alone, ensuring that any criticism directed towards him is constructive and intended to help him get the most out of his campaign and effectively manage the level of personal risk incurred. We should avoid second-guessing or saying "I told you so"; this man has put his boots on the ground in the local area and is exposing himself under his own name. In keeping with that notion, I will offer several suggestions on how he can maximize the advantages of his campaign.

(1). Develop a separate campaign blog. Schruender should begin a separate blog devoted to campaign issues only. He should publish and expand upon his school board platform, and document and analyze media stories about his campaign to expose media bias. He should avoid cross-publishing media stories in their entirety to remain within Fair Use guidelines and avoid copyright harassment; use the Stormfront rule when citing media stories. The separate campaign blog should contain an easy-to-remember URL, such as "schruender-for-kids" or something of that nature.

(2). Update his blog photo. Having a photo of himself with a swastika flag as a backdrop caters to negative biases and stereotypes. He should replace it with either a photo showing the Aryan Nations flag, or better yet, a simple head-and-shoulders shot with NO symbols.

(3). Resume giving media interviews. Sorry, but it is ALREADY a media circus. They will publish stories regardless of whether or not Schruender gives interviews. By giving interviews, Schruender will make sure the stories at least contain his reaction, even if it is biased.

(4). Forget any "lawsuit" for the time being. Dan Schruender speculates on the possibility of a lawsuit for defamation of character. This would be unwise; the prospects of victory are remote, and the expense of pursuing it too great. If an experienced White activist like Glenn Miller would back away from a lawsuit under similar circumstances, then Dan Schruender would have an even less chance of success. Instead, spend the money on getting the message out and educating the community.

Aryan Nations Activist Dan Schruender Running For Rialto, California School Board Seat, Possesses Extensive Advanced Academic Credentials

Update August 7th: See updated post with more reaction and my own suggestions for Schruender's campaign.

A White activist with Aryan Nations who has previously engaged in literature distribution in the Rialto, California area has decided to take his activism to the next level; namely, electoral politics. Dan Schruender has announced his intent to seek a seat on the school board of the Rialto Unified School District. Heavily-biased media stories were published on August 5th, 2010 by the San Bernardino Sun, the Contra Costa Times, and KABC Channel 7 (with video). More coverage was posted on the left-wing Imagine2050 blog. Schruender also discusses his decision on his blog.

Note: The San Bernadino Sun links to a Topix discussion forum on the story. No registration is required to post. I encourage all White activists to post comments supportive of Schruender's candidacy.

Schruender is contending for one of two seats up for election in the Rialto Unified School District, where trustees Joanne Gilbert and John Kazalunas are seeking re-election. "The Aryan Nations is not running me for the school board," Schruender said on Thursday August 5th. "I did this all on my own. I was thinking of running for office for years." As of this post, Schruender is the only listed candidate (click HERE then scroll down to Page 74, Rialto School District), although with the revelation of his Aryan Nations connections, the establishment will be going all out to find opposition before the filing deadline of August 6th. If nobody runs against him, he's in. Schruender reports that the San Bernardino County Registrar Of Voters Office was most helpful, and not judgmental of his candidacy in the least.

Update August 6th: There are now a total of six candidates listed, including Schruender.

The CC Times reports that Schruender said he wants to overhaul a curriculum that has been dumbed down by the state of California.

Schruender also explained that although he produces Aryan Nations' literature, he would not allow his ideology to affect his policy-making if he were elected to a school board seat in a district that has more than 27,500 students, most of whom are Latino and Black. According to the district office, Latinos make up 75.52 percent of the students, and Blacks make up 15.61 percent. He intends to deal with all kids fairly and evenly.

Omar Thornton's Mass Murder Spree At Hartford Distributors After Being Caught Stealing Beer Allegedly Motivated By "Racism" Against Him

Mass Murderer Omar Thornton

On August 3rd, 2010, a Black man who resigned from his job after being presented with video evidence showing him stealing beer from the warehouse in Manchester, CT where he worked snapped, pulled out a gun, and started firing at fellow workers, killing eight of them and wounding two others before turning the gun on himself. Media stories from the Hartford Courant, CNN, CBS News, WFSB Channel 3 (see their index of all stories HERE), and an AP story via KSL Channel 5. Former Connecticut State Rep. Kevin Rennie also discussed this on his DailyRuctions blog.

Discussion on Stormfront and the Vanguard News Network Forum.

Omar Thornton reported for work at the Hartford Distributors warehouse at 7 A.M. on August 3rd, 2010. He had worked there for two years. At a meeting with union representatives and his supervisors, he was confronted with several videos from security cameras which showed him stealing beer from the warehouse. Thornton offered no defense; he quietly signed a letter of resignation and was headed for the door when he pulled out a gun and started firing, "cold as ice," as one survivor described it. The fact that he had a weapon with him implies premeditation.

Thornton then walked through the building and parking lot for more than an hour, keeping police and medical teams from providing assistance to the wounded. As police responded and closed in, he called his mother, saying that he finally shot the five "racists" that were out to get him. He said they had pushed him over the edge. He also told his mother he was sorry and wanted to say goodbye. His mother tried to talk him out of capping himself, but to no avail. At 9 A.M., as SWAT teams closed in, Thornton shot himself.

The deceased victims (all 8 now identified):

-- Bryan Cirigliano: a fellow driver and union rep who fought to save Thornton's job
-- Victor James, another fellow driver and union rep who fought to save Thornton's job.
-- Craig Pepin, another longtime driver and a soccer coach in his hometown of South Windsor, was killed when he called out to warn co-workers.
-- Doug Scruton
-- William Ackerman
-- Edwin Kennison Jr.
-- Francis Fazio Jr.
-- Louis Felder Jr.

There are reports that Thornton said he found a picture of a noose and a racial epithet written on a bathroom wall, and that he was in a stall once and heard a co-worker say "they wanted that nigger out of there". But Brett Hollander, whose family owns the distributorship, denied any racial bias. And a union official said Thornton had not filed a complaint of racism with the union or any government agency. Teamsters official Christopher Roos said that Omar Thornton was merely a disgruntled employee who shot a bunch of people. Furthermore, the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities said Hartford Distributors has never had any complaints filed against it.

Omar Thornton reportedly posed no disciplinary problems in the past. His girlfriend, Kristi Hannah, had been with him on Monday August 2nd and gave no indication he was planning anything violent. Kristi's mother Joanne Hannah described Thornton as an easygoing guy who liked to play sports and video games. She said he had a pistol permit and planned to teach her daughter how to use a gun. However, a New York Times article discloses that Thornton had financial problems in the past, and that creditors were starting to pursue him again.

Omar Thornton now becomes entry #60 on my unofficial list of Black Serial/Spree killers.

Randy Gray Leads Pro-White Rally In Midland, Michigan; Pastor James Wickstrom, NSM Commander Jeff Schoep, And Brian Holland In Attendance

Randy Gray headlines Michigan pro-White rally; more photos at NSM88.org

A pro-White rally characterized by Mlive.com as "white supremacist" took place in front of the Midland County Courthouse in Midland, Michigan on Saturday July 31st, 2010. Despite advance publicity on venues like Stormfront, only about 50 people filtered into the rally throughout the three-hour event. The Midland Daily News gives more specifics; they state that the crowd was separated into people supporting or opposed to the speakers, and there were never more than 25 people in the supporters section or more than 45 people among those opposed. Chief rally organizer Randy Gray advises readers to be cautious of the Midland Daily News report.

The rally was organized by longtime local White racial activist Randy Gray under the auspices of an umbrella organization, "Citizens Against Out of Control Government". Also in attendance to enlighten and motivate the public was Christian Identity Pastor James Wickstrom, National Socialist Movement Commander Jeff Schoep, and presidential candidate Brian Holland.

Gray started out by calling upon Whites to start showing a little racial pride. He correctly characterized multiculturalism and diversity as a disease, and noted that he saw no "diversity" or "multiculturalism" among the founding fathers.

Pastor Wickstrom was up next, and while little was recorded about the substance of his speech, Jeff Schoep seemed particularly enamored of his elocutory talents. In his official after-action report, Schoep wrote "Wow, that man can speak; just hearing his message alone was enough to light a fire under anyone and motivate them to positve activism! If you like fire and brimstone speeches he is simply one of the best, a true inspiration to one and all!" From someone like Schoep, who is both religiously-neutral and an experienced public speaker, this is indeed a powerful endorsement of Wickstrom's talents.

Then it was Holland's turn. Brian Holland spoke about his platform, explaining why a vote for him is better than casting a vote for the two-party system. His message was rational, clear, and direct. Holland also directly engaged those protesting the rally. "You are uneducated and you are unworthy," he said. "Yet you protest us for protesting against a government that is corrupt."

Following up was Jeff Schoep himself, who displayed the stick as well as the carrot. Schoep directly challenged the audience, saying "Every white man, woman and child who stands up here today believes in America...Throw off the shackles and stand for your people! Show some courage. I don't know how you look at your faces in the mirror every day knowing you do nothing." Schoep also discussed NSM-led operations in Arizona near the Mexican border; these operations are discussed and updated more frequently on Harry Hughes' Just Another Day blog.

And finally, Schoep revealed that another unidentified speaker was present who discussed world banking and the Zionist control over international finance. This speaker seemed quite knowledgeable, although some audience members displayed little interest. The latter is more likely due to the fact that economics are complex and boring, made so through Jewish influence designed to deliberately obfuscate the subject.

Reaction: At least two attendees explicitly supported the speakers. Midland County resident Patrick Vernon stood in support of the speakers, saying that he is concerned about the out-of-control government and his culture being taken over. “Illegal immigration means genocide to our people. They don’t understand that,” he said of teenagers who he spoke with at the event. “We have a right to exist and we have a right to culture and we have a right to enforce our culture and not be underrepresented. The will of the people is being thwarted every single time we try to express these rights.” And Pastor Wickstrom captured favorable attention from Bay City resident Buck Grew. "I'm 67 years old, and I'm glad America has the freedom to let you speak your mind," he said. "I'm glad they came. When I went to school, I was taught there were three separate branches of government and they were supposed to keep each other in check. Now they're all in bed together."

Randy Gray did not seem particularly upset about the low attendance. Gray said while the attendance was small, there are other ways to spread the speakers’ messages. "The video cameras were rolling, so even though there (were only) a few people, the video still goes on the Internet for people worldwide to watch,” he said. “That’s the main thing, to inspire people to stand up. We don’t have to take this corruption in our government. We don’t have to tolerate this any longer.” Gray also said after the event he thought there was a double standard happening because protesters were allowed to yell at him but he was arrested at a previous Republican event for speaking up.
