Billy Roper, the Nationalist Party of America's candidate for Governor of Arkansas, has informed us that a couple of researchers are soliciting input from White Nationalists for a study. The stated purpose of this study is to gain a better understanding of attitudes of the White Nationalists represented on the White Revolution Internet website, although Roper invites all White Nationalists to participate.
The study was launched on April 30th, 2010, and is being conducted by David Bugg of SUNY Potsdam and Dianne Dentice of Stephen F. Austin State University. The fact that Roper is urging participation is an endorsement of their credibility. David Bugg is an assistant professor of sociology at SUNY Potsdam, and Diane Dentice is an assistant professor of sociology at the college of liberal and applied arts at Stephen F. Austin. They've chosen to use Survey Monkey to post their survey.
All responses are confidential and your identity will remain anonymous. The records of this study will be kept private. In any sort of report they might publish, they will not include any information that will make it possible to identify a subject. Research records will be stored securely and only researchers will have access to the records. It is anticipated that the results of this study will be published in academic journals. Only aggregated information will be used; no names or other identifying information will be used in the publications. The authors claim it can take as long as 30 minutes to complete the survey, but that depends upon the answers provided to the three essay questions. It took me about 10 minutes. British National Party Contends With MP Candidate Bob Bailey's Dustup With Three Asians And Simon Bennett's Defection On Eve Of May 6th Elections
If the British National Party ever makes it to the top of British politics, no one will be able to say they had it handed to them on a silver platter. They've had to struggle and scrap for every success.
And on the eve of the May 6th elections, the BNP has a couple of new challenges to contend with. Candidate Bob Bailey, campaigning to represent the Romford district of London in Parliament, got into a scrap with three Asian men who confronted him. The men came over to heckle him as he was canvassing for votes. When he told them to move on, one of them spat in his face, provoking a flurry of punches which floored the assailant. Fortunately, Bailey was not alone, or the outcome might have been more serious for Bailey. The Daily Mail published a report with several still photos; a YouTube video shows the confrontation:
Meanwhile, the Guardian reports that the BNP's website was closed down and replaced with a posting from Simon Bennett, the party's website manager, stating he had been in dispute with some elements of the management of the party and claiming there had been several attempts to steal his work. Bennett originally posted the complete statement on his own website but later took it down, but by that time, it had already been cross-posted on the Vanguard News Network Forum. The BNP website was later reinstated in part, and Bennett explained that "the website was reinstated upon request from decent people who would have been affected by this (the members). It will remain online until after the election. I have stated on numerous occasions that the party can have the website, domain and their legally owned aspects of it at any time and without cost - they have only to ask". On his own blog, Bennett added that there had been a number of highly questionable shenanigans going on at BNP HQ with which he was unhappy. Surprisingly, this issue is not discussed on Simon Darby's blog; he's the BNP Deputy Leader.
Results of an Angus Reid poll of 2,283 randomly-selected British adults, released on May 5th, show that nationwide, Conservatives are at 36 percent, Liberal Democrats 29 percent, Labour 24 percent, United Kingdom Independent Party (UKIP) 4 percent, British National Party 2 percent, Scottish National Party 2 percent, Green 1 percent, Plaid Cymru (Welsh) 1 percent, and Other 2 percent.

O.K., Swastika-Bashers, Here's One For You: U.S. Marines Reject Recruit Because Of A Confederate Battle Flag Tattoo On His Shoulder
National socialists are frequently denigrated within the White Nationalist community for their use of the swastika. Critics claim the swastika "drives the lemmings away", so it should be permanently shelved. The presumption is that other less prominent and less controversial symbols of White pride can be saved.
Sorry, but it ain't working that way. When Hymie and his homies throttled the swastika, they didn't stop there. They went after the Confederate battle flag. First, the NAACP launched a largely unsuccessful boycott of South Carolina over their display of the Confederate battle flag at their state capitol.
But now the campaign against the Confederate battle flag has been ramped up another notch. WorldNetDaily reports that the U.S. Marine Corps have rejected a recruit because of a tattoo. Not a white power tattoo or a gang tattoo -- but a Confederate battle flag tattoo on his shoulder. As a result, the young man, who wishes to remain unnamed and declined to be interviewed, has chosen to return to school and is no longer an aspiring Marine.
"I think he just wants to let it go," said former Marine 1st Lt. Gene Andrews, a friend of the man and patriotic Southerner who served in Vietnam from 1968 through 1971. Andrews is a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, a group of male descendants of Confederate soldiers. He counseled the young man when he decided to become a Marine. "He had been talking to me, and he was all fired up about joining," he told WND. "He asked my opinion of it, and I just tried to tell him the truth, good points and bad points."
WND contacted the Tennessee USMC recruiting station which rejected the recruit, and a Marine sergeant explained, "The policy is if a tattoo can be construed by anyone as being gang-related or racially biased, then we can't accept them." Asked whether an exception might be made for a Marine recruit who could provide a full explanation on the meaning of his tattoo as an expression of Southern pride, the recruiter explained, "At this point in time, no. If it can be construed by anyone as being racially biased, then right now it's a flat-out denial." Although he acknowledged that the tattoo is quite popular in the South and that recruitment has been impacted by the ban on Confederate flag tattoos, he further explained that the policy has been set by Headquarters Marine Corps. Headquarters USMC has not responded to WND's requests for clarification of the policy.
Two USMC directive references were cited in this story. Current Marine Corps tattoo policy states, "Tattoos/brands that are sexist (express nudity), racist, eccentric or offensive in nature, express an association with conduct or substances prohibited by the Marine Corps drug policy and the Uniform Code of Military Justice, to include tattoos associated with illegal drugs, drug usage or paraphernalia, are prohibited. Tattoos/brands that depict vulgar or anti-American content, bring possible discredit to the Marine Corps, or associate the applicant/Marine with any extremist group or organization are prohibited."
The second cited reference, the U.S. Marine Corps "Guidebook for Tattoo Screening, Volume VII," which is a manual outlining procedures for enlisted recruiting and officer procurement operations, explains, "Users of this guidebook should keep in mind, however, that few symbols ever just represent one idea or are used exclusively by one group. For example, the confederate flag is a symbol that is frequently used by white supremacists but which also has been used by people and groups that are not racist. To some it may signify pride in one's heritage, but to others it suggests slavery or white supremacy."

National Socialist Movement Regional Director Jeff Hall Interviewed By Corsair Newspaper Of Santa Monica College
The National Socialist Movement's April 17th Los Angeles rally continues to provoke media interest two weeks after the fact. And now the Corsair, which is the newspaper of Santa Monica College, has gotten into the act. They interviewed NSM Regional Director Jeff Hall (who holds the rank of Sergeant) and published it on May 4th, 2010. In setting up the interview, Corsair claims that the NSM wants to take away the rights of non-Whites, which they maintain invalidates the NSM's request for fairness. On the other hand, they state that by outright censure, the organizations that endorse the eradication of the NSM serve only to manifest the oppression claimed by the NSM, and to ostracize themselves as hypocritical.

Hemet Authorities Announce Specific Charges Against Two Of The 23 Suspects Rounded Up During The April 20th Raid
On May 3rd, 2010, Hemet authorities announced specific charges filed against two of the 23 individuals rounded up during a massive raid on 35 different locations in the San Jacinto Valley which took place on April 20th, 2010. Forty-year-old Patrick Nugent Jr., who authorities say is a member of the COORS (Comrades of our Racist Struggle) Skins gang, has been charged with possession of a "zip gun", an improvised firearm similar to that used to booby-trap the front gate of the Hemet-San Jacinto Valley Gang Task Force in February 2010. He's also been charged with having a pair of nunchucks – weapons usually constructed of two pieces of wood held together by a short chain. According to the complaint against Nugent, he had the zip gun and nunchucks "at the direction of and in association with a criminal street gang with the specific intent" to promote criminal conduct among gang members. The AP reports that Nugent has pleaded not guilty.
Also charged in the raids was Joseph Zito, 29, of Hemet, as a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. He is jailed and bail is set at $1 million. Zito previously had ties to a white supremacist group but his mother, Catherine Shirley, said he was not involved with the COORS or any other gang. She said he was in the process of getting swastika tattoos removed.
But Catherine Shirley is unhappy with the behavior of the FBI agents who searched her home. Shirley said FBI agents trashed her home as they burst in before dawn to arrest her son and confiscate several books, including a German Bible and his laptop. Shirley, who has multiple sclerosis, said she was bruised as she was handcuffed. She also said her family's china collection was destroyed. "They stormed in full regalia and chopped open the back door, throwing bombs. I thought it was an earthquake," Shirley said. "When you see what those people did to this house, it looks like Hurricane Katrina." View a photo of the damage HERE.
FBI officials said they were not aware of any damage, but they told the family they could file claims with the FBI legal department. Bureau spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said the family did not report any injuries and the mother was detained as a security measure while agents searched the house, assisting the Gang Task Force.
But of course Catherine Shirley didn't report any injuries at the time - she was probably still traumatized over the dynamic entry of a bunch of black-clad police agents. Obviously, the FBI has to take precautions, but to destroy this lady's china collection? That's vindictive. One individual who identified as a former cop agrees, and posted the following comment to the Press-Enterprise story:

The cops in California LOVE carrying everything they do to the extreme because the law says that they can. They didnt have to trash the place, but they did because the law protects them. Thugs with a badge. Searching the place and arresting her son was more than reasonable, but there is no need to trash the place. I used to be a cop in the midwest and we certainly werent allowed to act like that. Local cops enjoy doing that, then sit around and drink beers bragging.
National Socialist Movement Distributes "Report An Illegal Day" Flyers In Phoenix To Counteract Upcoming Cinco De Mayo
The National Socialist Movement's Phoenix Unit is setting the pace for street activism these days. Only they didn't hold an agitprop rally this time. Instead, they're distributing flyers entitled "Report An Illegal Day". The idea is that on May 5th, patriots who don't want to celebrate Cinco de Mayo can observe the day by reporting a known illegal alien instead. The one-page flyer calls on people to fax or email Congress and demand that the border be secured. It also wants people to ask local businesses to participate in e-verify and to turn in people to DHS and ICE. According to the NSM website, the NSM wants each member to hand out 25 flyers. Bay Area National Anarchist (BANA) Activists Roughed Up By Anti-Racist Scum At May 1st San Francisco Immigration Reform Rally
Three members of the Bay Area National Anarchists (BANA), including the group's founder Andrew Yeoman, were roughed up by at least ten anti-racists following a so-called "immigration reform" rally in San Francisco on May 1st, 2010. "Immigration reform" is considered a synonym for amnesty for illegal aliens. Full story published by SF Weekly; discussion threads on Stormfront and Occidental Dissent.
Thousands of demonstrators marching for immigration reform down Mission Street Saturday afternoon were mostly preaching to the choir in San Francisco, which is openly acknowledged by the media as a sanctuary city. But once the marchers arrived at the Civic Center Plaza for the rally, they were greeted by a small phalanx of counter protesters standing on the sidewalk in front of City Hall, including the Golden Gate Minutemen and four members of the Bay Area National Anarchists (BANA). Some of the pro-amnesty demonstrators marched up to the police barricades in front of the Minutemen where the two sides engaged in a shouting match, but police moved the protesters back to the Civic Center Plaza.
But as Yeoman and three other BANA members were leaving the rally and walking near Market and Van Ness, a group of three guys started following and yelling at them. Yeoman believes he was personally targeted by the group, who may have known him from his videos. The group of attackers quickly swelled to ten, all white except for one black man. Yeoman crossed the street to get away from the group but they followed him and yelled things like "Why do you hate immigrants?", and "Why are you conservative?"
Two of the attackers had brass knuckles, yet it was a female who started the attack by macing Yeoman in the face. Yeoman says his sunglasses kept it from getting in his eyes. Two men then pushed Yeoman to the ground and kicked him, causing welts on his head. The attackers also hit BANA member Parker Wilson in the back, and pushed a female member. The fourth BANA member had apparently gotten away. Then a plainclothes cop rushed up and pulled his gun. Yeoman and the attackers were all told to lay on their stomachs and were handcuffed and questioned. After questioning, the anarchists were let go by the police. At least two of the attackers were arrested.
This pattern repeats itself endlessly -- wherever White activists are confronted by anti-racists, it is the anti-racists who break the laws. It is the anti-racists who initiate physical violence. And, on those rare occasions when anyone is arrested, it is the anti-racists who get arrested. Yet it's the anti-racists who claim to stand for tolerance, diversity, and brotherhood.
But Andrew Yeoman says that he doesn't want to push his views on others. "We support them to live in areas they want to live in for themselves, if its multicultural or whatever it is," he says. "They attack us because they disagree with members of our tribe and how our tribe wants to live their lives. We feel that's totally unjustified."

National Socialist Activist J.T. Ready Fires Back At Critics On Stormfront, Defends NSM Strategy And Tactics, Calls For Unity Of "Boots And Suits"
On April 30th, 2010, five members of the local National Socialist Movement unit showed up at the press conference of Bill Montgomery, a candidate for Maricopa County Attorney. Montgomery has formed a political alliance with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who also showed up at the press conference.
Among the NSM cadre present was their local leader, J.T. Ready. Ready has been a prominent pro-White activist in Phoenix for several years; he's even formed working relationships with conventional political figures such as State Senator Russell Pearce, the sponsor of the SB 1070 immigration enforcement law (now superseded by the more moderate HB 2162). Ready has even earned the grudging respect of a leading progressive "journalist", Phoenix New Times blogger Stephen Lemons, who once said in effect that he would rather break bread with an "honest Nazi" than with a "valuable intellectual property" who hides behind a gaggle of fifty-dollar words. While I'm not sure why the NSM contingent showed up at this press conference, nor can I fathom how their presence there could benefit either Montgomery's candidacy or the pro-White Cause, Ready told the media that they not only wanted to show visible support for Sheriff Joe’s candidate for County Attorney, but also to show that Whites will not stand idly by while being "genocided" out of our own country. Of course, the NSM showed that most effectively and succinctly during the Los Angeles rally, which was specifically designed for that intended purpose. In contrast, showing up for a candidate's press conference in uniform and with firearms to show "support" could potentially backfire against the candidate. But since J.T. Ready lives in Phoenix, and I don't, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt in terms of local expertise; he knows his community better than I do.
However, this is not the prevailing sentiment on a Stormfront thread dedicated to this story. J.T. Ready not only comes under strong criticsm, but also was targeted with character attacks. Because of the David Gletty legacy, once again suspicion about the NSM being run by Feds was voiced. One noteworthy activist, SuaSponte, who is associated with the American Third Position Party, wrote the following (view after the jump):
