Ryan Murdough Runs A Credible Campaign, But Finishes Fifth In Grafton County House District 8 Republican Primary In New Hampshire

Post now updated with final vote totals.

Despite running a credible campaign ably assisted by members and supporters of the American Third Position Party (A3P), the Concord Monitor is now reporting that Ryan J. Murdough has officially finished a close fifth in the five-candidate Republican primary race for the Grafton County House District 8 seat in New Hampshire. The top three finishers go on to the general election under the state's rules, and because there were so many candidates, I thought the vote would be split more amongst the other four, permitting Murdough to finish third and go on to the general election. But it was not to be. Discussion also available on this Stormfront thread.

The two sources for raw election results HERE and HERE are now complete:
-- Skip Reilly: 619 votes, 34%
-- Jeff Shackett: 389 votes, 21%
-- Paul Simard: 288 votes, 16%
-- Robert Berti: 286 votes, 16%
-- Ryan Murdough: 235 votes, 13%

But the Concord Monitor proclaimed Murdough's "failure" even before final totals were released. At the time of the story's publication, tallies from Holderness, Ashland, Alexandria, Bristol and Groton had been counted, but Bridgewater hadn't reported its results.

Nevertheless, Ryan Murdough has nothing to be ashamed of. This is a COMPETITIVE performance. To put in in proper perspective, Murdough ran as a Republican despite the ACTIVE opposition of the Republican nomenklatura. When Murdough first announced his candidacy in July 2010, the New Hampshire Republican Party establishment reacted with orchestrated horror at his pro-White views, falsely labeling him a "white supremacist", and immediately declared him an anathema. This meant he would be denied access to any official Republican help or resources.

To underscore how petty the Republican Party behaved, the Grafton County Republican Committee wouldn't even acknowledge Murdough's existence, although they listed the names of the other four Republican candidates for District 8. The Republican State Committee even went to the extreme of issuing a flyer to candidates and activists that listed Murdough's name with a thick black line running over it. Fortunately for Murdough, the A3P stepped into the breach to offer assistance; their activists not only helped him on the ground in the district, but also manned a phone bank on his behalf in the closing days of the campaign.

In response, Ryan Murdough said that the results came as no surprise. "I didn't expect to win anyway," Murdough said. "The reason I ran was to use the political process to spread my message, and I feel like I accomplished that. I plan on running in races in the future, so this is a learning experience." This is good that Murdough is considering future campaigns; with the current generation of White nationalist leaders such as Dr. David Duke, Don Black, and John Taylor Bowles starting to get long in the tooth, the time to identify a future generation of leadership to pass the baton to is now.

We also have another 57-minute interview with Murdough conducted by Jamie Kelso on Voice Of Reason dated September 14th:

But even Murdough's fifth-place finish didn't ameliorate the Republican establishment's sour grapes. Last night, Republican spokesman Ryan Williams complained, "We've made it very clear that Mr. Murdough is not a Republican; he's a member of a radical racist third party group. We said during the primary that he would not be receiving any assistance from the Republican Party."

The wife of one of the winning candidates also reacted. Peg Reilly, the wife of Skip Reilly, said her opposition to Murdough wasn't just a result of her marital connection. "I feel that New Hampshire does not need this kind of representation. It would lead to something worse in the future, and it would lead to more people of that same persuasion. I just don't feel we need that," said Peg Reilly.

I bet Peg Reilly would become of "that same persuasion" if she moved to East St. Louis, Detroit, or Camden for a month. Too many white folks who rhapsodize about diversity have never actually lived amongst it. A community that's 90 percent White is NOT diverse.

Good job Ryan!! Excellent performance. Keep trying. His efforts show that victory through politics is possible.

13 percent the first time out for an openly pro-White candidate, despite all the opposition he faced, is most impressive.

At least he was smart enough to get on the printed ballot and not lazy like Billy Roper being a write-in candidate.

Anonymous 1:32 P.M. - that's a legitimate lesson learned. This is probably the reason why ANP Chairman Rocky Suhayda recommends pro-White candidates run "completely under the radar". Of course, it's difficult to run completely under the radar if one has any track record of public pro-White activism to speak of; it almost requires a completely "sterile" past.

However, in his Florida race two years ago, Nationalist Coalition Ops Manager John Ubele was on the ballot as an independent, and it didn't particularly help him. He still finished as a distant also-ran despite running the same type of campaign as Murdough.

I still think that despite running as a write-in, Billy Roper will nail at least 5 percent of the vote.

We don't give a shit about this crap. Let's get back to kicking piss ant jeff schoep in the head!

Gotta support Rocky in this one, he is dead on accurate. One should run as under-the-radar-as-possible.

Seems Rocky is turning into the number #1 pro-White spokesperson for the White Nationalist Movement.

Dear "AA", yes IF you have already been "tagged" by silly and useless "Phase One" public activities, like myself and so many (unfortunately) others have brought upon ourselves, when we were naive and followed the "same old/same old" game-plan - then you obviously ought to run a INTELLIGENT and non-"hollywood-hater", pro-White campaign. But, as the Struggle constantly gets an influx of new people, we must make the effort to PROTECT their identities for two reasons #1 for their OWN personal security, #2 so that we can "mole-in" under the enemy radar, and actually achieve some REAL victories for once. Prancing in the street like a "Gay Parade" ( they sadly even get more numbers...) isn't getting involved in REAL POLITICS. I too applaud Mr. Murdough for his run. I think his tally was very impressive for a first time, and hopefully a BIG step towards getting this "movement" going in the correct direction. Btw, I seriously doubt if Billy Roper will even break 1% as a "write-in candidate", we'll see. Sincerely, Rocky J. Suhayda, Chairman www.ANP14.com

Mr. Suhayda makes a lot of sense when he writes. Something that too many so-called leaders seem to lack, with their constant 'I hate jews & niggers' crap. WPWW

I'd like to go but its a long drive from NJ. ANP seems to be the best org around at the present time who have realistic goals and a serious attitude. I wish that they changed their name to 'National Socialist' though, instead of using 'Nazi'. I think that they would find better acceptance. If I can find somebody to share the drive I still might show up to check them out.
