Hire the best teachers, not bodies to fill a quota
Wilkes-Barre NAACP President Ron Felton’s call for the hiring of more minority teachers in the Wilkes-Barre Area School District is both discriminatory and ludicrous.
I want the best qualified people teaching my children, not someone there to fulfill a racial hiring quota. A diverse teaching population does not benefit students, good teachers do.
Mr. Felton’s attempt to browbeat the Wilkes-Barre Area School District will not go unopposed.
Note that the letter is short, concise, and focused. Only one issue is addressed in order to prevent unnecessary distractions. See additional discussion on Stormfront.
Back on July 22nd, 2010, the Citizen's Voice, which is an affiliated newspaper of the Times-Leader, published an LTE from Ron Felton in which he stated that the Wilkes-Barre NAACP recommends that diversity be an essential component of any revised hiring policy. He complains that while minority students account for nearly 40 percent of the student enrollment in the Wilkes-Barre Area School District, minority teachers account for less than two percent. Felton attempted to tie this concern with some recent Federal indictments of Wilkes-Barre School Board members on unrelated corruption issues.
Yet this concern for "diversity" is only a one-way street. Black leaders, along with their White sockpuppets and the Jewish manipulators behind the scenes only play the diversity card when a target is "too white" to suit them. The diversity card is never played when a prospective target is "too black". Case in point: The National Basketball Association recently earned a letter grade of "A" in diversity from the University of Central Florida's Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport despite the fact that the NBA is 77 percent Black. Since America as a whole is only 15 percent Black, it's obvious that the NBA doesn't "look like America".
We await Ron Felton's call for the NBA to make diversity "an essential component" of its hiring as well.
