At Least 250 Anti-Racists Protest Showing Of "Epic: The Story of the Waffen SS" At Kalispell Public Library; April Gaede And Mark Harrington Arrested

The Flathead Beacon reports that on April 29th, 2010, hundreds of anti-racist Flathead Valley residents turned out to protest the showing at the Kalispell Library of "Epic: The Story of the Waffen SS", a film that takes a more respectful view of the combat arm of the Nazis during World War II. The Beacon also includes a non-embeddable slide show of nine photos. The Daily Interlake now has a story as well, and The Missoulian has published an informative story. There's also a story on KCFW Channel 9; news video embedded below:

It was the second film shown at the library by Kalispell resident Karl Gharst, who on March 29th screened a movie entitled "The Holocaust Debate", featuring a debate between Holocaust revisionist Mark Weber of the Institute for Historical Research (IHR) and Michael Shermer, a science writer and editor of Skeptic magazine. Gharst said he planned to show a film titled, “The Truth Behind the Gates of Auschwitz,” on May 29th, and he plans other events for the summer.

The anti-racist protesters crowded and mobbed those walking into the library to view the film, and in a scuffle at the entrance, a woman’s camera was knocked out of her hands. Kalispell Police then arrested April Gaede and her husband Mark Harrington for causing the damage, charging them with assault and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors. They were later released, and have until May 7th to answer charges in court. On this Stormfront thread, Gaede reported that "There were antifa with homo rainbow flags everywhere and they stood with cameras blocking the way in, sticking their cameras in our faces".

Later in the same thread, April Gaede wrote "Yeah we are okay, we know we were just trying to enter the library to see a film about wwII and the antifa were blocking the entryway. We were not the ones violating anyone's rights. No cops anywhere to make sure we could get inside okay. It was kind of a big deal here in this small town, you would have thought they would have made sure to try to keep them away so that there was no clash. Apparently it is okay to stick a camera in someone's face but not to remove it from your own face..." This clearly indicates that the anti-racists were blocking the entrance to the library, which at the very least would be a violation of the local fire code.

On the Vanguard News Network Forum, April Gaede estimated the number of anti-racists at 250, and said that two cameras got broken.

The anti-racist protest was organized by the Rev. Darryl Kistler, pastor of the local United Church of Christ. Kistler is a disciple of the notorious Rev. Jeremiah Wright. The United Church of Christ is a revisionist Christian denomination which ordains women and homosexuals to pastorship positions, in violation of Biblical directive. Other key organizers included the Whitefish-based Rabbi Allen Secher, who just happens to be a member of the Montana Human Rights Commission, and Rev. Glenn Burfeind of the First Presbyterian Church of Kalispell. They took out a quarter-page ad in one of the local newspapers under the auspices of the "Concerned Citizens of Kalispell".

In a case like this, we ought to have some normal looking WN come un-costumed and carry signs reading "extreme" statements like "KILL NAZI'S AND THEIR CHILDREN!", "THE TALMUD SAYS NO GOYIM HAVE RIGHTS!", "WHITES ARE EVIL!" etc. All to make the "protesters" look like extreme HATERS.

Now that's an example of real activism. No ammount of trash talking and rumor mongering can replace it.
