Nationalist Coalition's Tampa Chapter Mails DVD Copy Of "Jud Süß" Movie To Florida Governor Charlie Crist, Gets Thank You Letter In Return

John Ubele, the Operations Manager of the Nationalist Coalition, reports on Stormfront that the organization's Tampa chapter recently mailed out DVD copies of the movie "Jud Süß" to various key elected officials throughout the state of Florida, and has received some positive feedback.

One official in particular is Florida Governor Charlie Crist. Governor Crist sent a letter thanking Ubele for the video and expressing his intent to share it with the people of Florida. A copy of the letter, originally posted on the Nationalist Coalition blog, is also posted below:

According to Wikipedia, Jud Süß is a novella by Wilhelm Hauff about a businessman who believes he is a Jew, and whose unfair business practices result in the betrayal of an innocent girl. Consequently, he is arrested and sentenced to be hanged. While he waits to be executed, he discovers that he is not Jewish, but he prefers to face his sentence rather than turning his back on the community he grew up in. A separate Wikipedia entry discusses the movie. But you don't need to order the DVD. The movie is available on WNTube, and is embedded below:

At this point, there is no need to over-interpret Governor Crist's reaction. It could be that he is simply a buff of old movies and that he finds this movie enjoyable. Eventually, he could find this movie educational as well. It's worth the time to watch it. Update: On July 24th, the Associated Press reports that the governor's office said it was an embarrassing mistake. "We are NOT sharing the DVD with the people of Florida," said Sterling Ivey, the governor's press secretary. "The governor does not support this view. The letter was sent out prior to us reviewing the DVD that was sent."

Nevertheless, hats off to the Nationalist Coalition for leading the way in activism once again.
