Podblanc Video: Vanguard News Network's Mark Faust Discusses Whether Jews Are A Race Or A Religion

One of the knotty problems of what has become termed the "Jewish Question" is whether Jews are a race, a religion, or most likely both.

So why do we believe that Jews should be considered a race as well as a religion? And more specifically, should all Jews be considered a race? Since you see Jews of different colors, it should be obvious that not all Jews are of the same race. But the fact is, many Jews themselves identify as an ethnicity or even a race.

The video embedded below shows a confrontation between Morgan Freeman and CBS's Mike Wallace. They were discussing Black History Month. When Freeman responded that every month was White History Month, Wallace retorted, "I'm Jewish". See discussion thread on the Vanguard News Network Forum.

"White" is a race. If Mike Wallace believed that "Jewish" is merely an ethnicity, why did he respond to Morgan Freeman by saying "I'm Jewish"? Does that mean he doesn't identify as White? And, if so, do other Jews feel the same way?

Others within the Jewish community have asserted racial as well as religious identity. The issue was robustly debated amongst Jews and Gentiles alike in 2005 on the Genforum. Chabad.org insists that Jews are more a family than a race, even going so far to consider race an artificial construct. But Dr. David Duke cites numerous public statements from a number of prominent Jews in which they assert RACIAL as well as religious identity.

In addition, the Western Safeguards Institute published information about the common phsyical attributes shared by many Ashkenazi Jews. Most notably, these similarities show up in the face and cranial area. Under Israel's Law of Return, they not only define a Jew as one who inherits it through his/her mother, but also grant instant citizenship to all Jews who apply. This leads to many prominent Jewish-Americans like Michael Chertoff being accused of dual loyalty to both Israel and the United States. So far as we know, while Chertoff is Jewish, he has NOT applied for Israeli citizenship, so technically he can be considered "loyal" only to the United States.

So the question still appears to be open. But the unwillingness of many white Jews to identify as White instead of Jewish is one of the main reasons why most of the white nationalist community doesn't accept white Jews as Whites (Jared Taylor excepted).

Mark Faust also operates the Founders Broadcasting Group website, which is a clearinghouse for the best of White Radio.
