TNB In Tampa: Lorenzo Knight Caught Breaking Into A Truck, Hides In Porta-Potti, Porta-Potti Tipped Over. Ahhh, Fresh Jenkem!

On August 31st 2008, Tampa Bay Online reports on Tampa's unluckiest criminal for the day. Additional report from BayNews9. Also read a hilarious discussion thread about this story on Chimpout.com.

On Saturday August 31st, twenty-two-year-old Lorenzo Earl Knight (pictured above left, can't tell if it's a "Before" or "After" picture) broke into a truck in the parking lot of the International Mall, taking a $500 digital camera and the owner's manual. He had just jimmied the door of a second truck when its owner spotted him. Knight took off, leaving behind a shoe and the screwdriver he used to break into the trucks.

The owner of the second truck and a friend chased Knight, who tried hiding in a portable toilet at a construction site. However, the owner and friend found Knight and tipped over the toilet to keep him there until police arrived. Knight was covered with its contents.

He was arrested on two counts of burglary of a vehicle and one charge of grand theft. Knight, who did not have a permanent address, was released from the Orient Road Jail after posting $6,000 bond. A person posting a comment to the story states that Knight has 14 prior arrests.

Rumors that Knight fought police to prevent his removal from the Porta-Potti have not been confirmed. One could understand if he fought back; it's not every day that a black man comes upon a fresh supply of jenkem. LOL!

I feel sorry for the cops who arrested him, and for the poor rookie cop who will get stuck driving that cruiser for the next six months. No amount of detailing will completely remove the smell. And the smell of shit is IN ADDITION TO the residual smell of what is charitably referred to as "nigfunk".
