Two Pro-White Candidates, Richard B. Mayers And Art Jones, Running For Congress In Illinois' Third Congressional District

Two pro-white candidates are running to represent Illinois' Third Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Full story published November 20th, 2007 in the Riverside-Brookfield Landmark. See a November 8th story in the Chicagoist for more information on Richard Mayers. And here's a November 8th story on all the candidates in the The

The Landmark article focuses mostly on 36-year-old Richard B. Mayers, who is running under the Green Party banner. Undoubtedly, the Landmark focuses on this candidate because he caters to many negative stereotypes of white nationalism. The mainstream media finds it more newsworthy and more satisfactory to present the worst examples of white nationalism as typical of the white nationalist community.

And Mayers has a very checkered past. Among his antics:

- In July 2005, Mayers was charged with two misdemeanors, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property after he allegedly confessed to damaging five videotapes that dealt with the Holocaust, including three episodes of the NBC miniseries "Holocaust," a video titled "Anne Frank Remembered" and "Memories of Kristallnacht", at the Riverside Library. The case against Mayers was dropped when library officials failed to appear in court. According to police, Mayers told them that he damaged the Anne Frank tape because the movie did not "give the other side."

- In August 2007, Mayers was found in the Niagara River near Niagara Falls, New York, after a 20-hour search when his abandoned car was found near the river, according to a story in the Niagara Gazette newspaper. According to the story, Mayers was evasive upon being found in the river and insisted on having a lawyer present during questioning. The story states that Mayers was sent to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for a mental evaluation. Mayers said that he was found on the bank of the river and he implied that he had swum across the river to Canada. He also said that this summer he was ticketed for trying to swim to Ellis Island from New Jersey.

- Previously associated with Matt Hale, who is now in federal prison after being convicted of threatening a federal judge. By itself, little problem, but within the context of the other issues, becomes political baggage.

- Currently unemployed. By itself, this would be no problem, but within the context of the other issues, implies limited employability. May be considered too unstable for employment by prospective employers.

- Although a self-professed member of the Green Party, Party officials disavow him, claiming that he is not a member and that they already have another endorsed candidate, Jerome Pohlen, to represent them in the race.

Richard Mayers has no campaign website. With all the political baggage Mayers brings to the table, it's obvious he is not a suitable candidate and is NOT worthy of support by the white community.

The other candidate discussed in the Landmark story, Art Jones, is completely different. He offers a potentially strong and coherent candidacy. Jones, who hails from Chicago, and who was defeated by Ray Wardingley in the 2006 Republican primary, is once again seeking the Republican nomination. This time, he's being opposed by Michael Hawkins, a real estate broker from Bridgeview and a member of Lyons Township Republican organization. Wardingley, who earlier said he would be running in the February 5th, 2008 GOP primary, has dropped out of the race, and endorsed Hawkins in order to avoid splitting the vote against Jones.

Two separate websites offer information on Art Jones:

Click HERE to access Jones' official campaign website.

Click HERE to access the America First Comittee website, with which he is apparently associated.

Here are the highlights of Art Jones' campaign platform (click HERE for detailed explanation):

(1). Support the orderly but speedy withdrawal of our troops from Iraq and Afghanistan and send them to defend our borders.

(2). Oppose any amnesty for illegal aliens.

(3). Repeal GATT, NAFTA, WTO, and FTAA.

(4). Replace the income tax with a national sales tax.

(5). Outlaw abortion and ban gay marriage.

(6). Affordable, adequate health care for all Americans, particularly for veterans.

(7). Second Amendment issues - supports the "Castle Doctrine" and nationwide "conceal-carry".

(8). Make English the official language of the country.

Actually, you don't have to be a white nationalist to support Art Jones. You only have to be an American patriot.

And, considering that the American National Socialist Workers Party (ANSWP) has an active state unit in Illinois, it wasn't long before the candidacies of both Richard Mayers and Art Jones attracted the notice of the ANSWP. On their Yahoo Discussion group, ANSWP Commander Bill White discussed the respective candidacies, and endorsed each one in his respective primary campaign. However, it appears the ANSWP must have done the same homework I did, because they appear to be directing the bulk of their support towards Art Jones. This is smart; Jones has his act together, while Mayers teems with liabilities. The ANSWP would be smart to avoid expending any significant effort on the Mayers campaign.

Since Art Jones has already been tagged a "white supremacist" and a "neo-Nazi" by the establishment, he could derive no benefit by refusing ANSWP support. ANSWP activists, particularly the Illinois contingent, have proven unusually effective because of their hard work. They can help Jones get more publicity.

I apologize but this is the only contact form I can find on the page.
I appreciate what you're trying to do here. I've enrolled in Law school so I can get started working in the interest of you know, things are a little one sided these days. I came here searching for a "white interest" web site. I'm going to have to tell you though, if you want to make a difference in this country, you're a little misdirected. You need to tone down a few of the things on the site. You would have a far greater chance of opening peoples eyes if you didn't like to a site like "Final Solution 88." We don't live in a society where whites think it's okay to hate people that much. I know you're trying to help but if it isn't going to work, then get out of the way. Whether you believe it or not, you need to change your message. There's only one way to help right now. Things may change in the future but we're just starting and we need whites to back us up. We need them to see that believing in white rights does NOT have to be racist. As you're aware, whites are too busy feeling guilty to be "racist." If you want to help, you need to speak the peoples language. Avoid all visible contact with people who preach hate. Keep your nose clean or you'll fuck everything up for the rest of us. "Ohhh...I dont want to be THAT guy. He's a crazy nazi!" Do it right. Make white Americans feel all warm and comfortable when you talk about white rights. That's what THEY need. And we need THEM.
