The Disparity Between The Jared Taylor Case And The Elie Wiesel Case

The "attack" on Elie Wiesel in a San Francisco hotel on February 1st, 2007 and the subsequent arrest of the accused attacker Eric Hunt on February 17th have generated a number of questions in the mainstream media, mainly centered around "anti-Semitism", Holocaust "denial", and what additional measures could be taken to deter such attacks in the future.

One issue which has been studiously avoided by the captive elite media has been an examination of continuity - are the charges against Eric Hunt appropriate, and how other people who have behaved like Eric Hunt have been treated by the justice system. I suddenly recalled a similar situation which occurred at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in January, when Jared Taylor (pictured above left), who heads up the New Century Foundation and edits American Renaissance magazine, attempted to deliver a speech. Here's the account, published on the American Renaissance website:

Last November, Prof. David Divine of Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, agreed to meet Jared Taylor in a debate on whether racial diversity is a strength or a weakness. Late in December, he backed out of his agreement, claiming he had been unaware of Mr. Taylor's background, and was now unwilling to let him speak. AR secured a venue in Halifax, where Jared Taylor planned to give the following talk on Jan. 16, the day after Prof. Divine gave his.

On January 16th, before Mr. Taylor could even be introduced, 20 or 30 demonstrators filed into the room, and began shouting and beating on pots and pans. This went on for perhaps 20 minutes until a group of perhaps six men surrounded Mr. Taylor at the podium and, linking arms, forced him from the room. Demonstrators also destroyed copies of American Renaissance that Mr. Taylor had prepared for distribution.

What they should have been charged with: Creating a public disturbance, battery, vandalism (at the very least, in accordance with applicable Canadian laws).

What they were charged with: Absolutely nothing. The six men weren't arrested or even detained, and are at liberty.

Now let's compare Taylor's situation with the encounter experienced by Elie Wiesel. Here's the account, rendered by Eric Hunt himself on the Ziopedia website:

On February 1st, at approximately 7:30 p.m., I attempted to get a confession out of the "Pope of the Holocaust religion," Elie Wiesel. We were in an elevator in the Argent Hotel in San Francisco. He was on his way to the 36th floor Penthouse. I had planned to bring Wiesel to my hotel room where he would truthfully answer my questions regarding the fact that his non-fiction Holocaust memoir, Night, is almost entirely fictitious.

After ensuring no women would be traumatized by what I had to do (I had been trailing Wiesel for weeks), I stopped the elevator at the sixth floor. I pulled Wiesel out of the elevator. I said I wanted to interview him. He protested, grabbed at his chest as if he was having a heart attack. He then screamed HELP! HELP! at the top of his lungs. This is someone who in his public appearances, speaks so softly, that when he appeared on Oprah, they had to use subtitles throughout. Wiesel had dropped this phony persona and assumed his actual personality, of an insane lunatic.

I told him, "Why, you don't want people to know the truth?" His expression changed, and he began screaming again. HELP! HELP! So, after pulling him about fifteen feet out of the elevator, alerting a few floors, I decided that it was time for me to go. He was no use to our worldwide struggle for freedom if he had a heart attack. I fled from the scene, confident that the police would arrive soon and search the city looking for the insane person who attempted to forcefully interrogate a poor old "Holocaust Survivor", Nobel Peace Prize Winner, and most recently, "knight of the British Empire."

I had planned on either: getting Wiesel into my custody, with a cornered Wiesel finally forced to state the truth on videotape, getting arrested, or fleeing, and either way, exposing the "Pope of the Holocaust religion" for being nothing but a genocidal liar. However, a funny thing happened, Wiesel apparently never called the police.

What Eric Hunt should have been charged with: Communicating a terroristic threat, battery

What he was charged with: Attempted kidnapping, false imprisonment, elder abuse, stalking, battery and the commission of a hate crime.

So why the overcharging of Eric Hunt and no charges against the "Dalhousie Six"? In both cases, the victims were present to deliver speeches. Are the content of the speeches responsible for the differential treatment? Perhaps. Taylor was in Halifax to warn Canadians against the consequences of diversity. Wiesel was in San Francisco to promote the Holocaust. The establishment much prefers speeches on the latter subject rather than the former, so Taylor's speech was judged Politically Incorrect and not worthy of the same protection as Wiesel's speech.

However, there is one other important difference between Jared Taylor and Elie Wiesel. Taylor is a Gentile, Wiesel is a Jew. And not just an ordinary Jew, mind you, but a Top Jew, a member of the inner circle, an icon who survived the Holocaust. Attacking any Jew is considered a hate crime by the Chosen, but attacking a Top Jew is considered absolutely unforgivable in both this world and the next. Perhaps this is what is meant by the statement in the Talmud that "hitting a Jew is hitting God" (Sanhedrin 58b, the precise quote being "one who smiteth23 man [i.e. an Israelite] attacketh24 the Holy One".).

Oh, you consider this anti-Semitic, do you? The difference is merely coincidence, you say? Let's examine another issue. How about...sexual abuse by clerics. Every time a Catholic priest is discovered to have committed sexual abuse, instant headlines. Even the pompous Bill O'Reilly used his bully pulpit to relentlessly persecute former Boston Cardinal Bernard Law and demand his resignation just because Law happened to be Cardinal at the time some subordinate priests were caught abusing kids (Cardinal Law himself never abused anyone). Yet when's the last time you've heard of a Jewish rabbi sexually abusing kids? Oh, you say it doesn't happen? Au contraire, nugget. The Clergy Abuse page of The Awareness Center website has documented 89 different cases of rabbi abuse. And no, The Awareness Center is not an "anti-Semitic" website. It is operated by Jews - Jews who are more interested in policing and reforming their own community than in replacing Christmas trees and nativity scenes with menorahs.

Clearly, Eric Hunt is being set up to pay for far more than his own sins. He could end up paying for the "sins" of any American who's been courageous enough to expose the inflation, promotion, and protection of the Holocaust. He could end up being the Ernst Zuendel of our country, in reality being prosecuted for "Holocaust Denial" hidden under the protective cover of actual criminal charges. Or because of his recent stint at the Carrier Clinic, a psychiatric and addiction treatment center, he could be portrayed as mentally incompetent in the same fashion that dissidents in the old Soviet Union were once treated. Either way, Eric Hunt is in for a rough ride.

However, there could be national fallout as well. Currently, HR 254 is up for consideration in the U.S. House. Reverend Ted Pike has warned us about the threat to free speech posed by this piece of legislation. The attack on Elie Wiesel could be marketed by Organized Jewry and its allies in such as fashion as to push this bill over the edge and get it passed. We must re-double our efforts to kill this bill.
